S1 Rear Diffuser FX111A0215F

This is my first model of a new diffuser with an extended length of 140 mm and special additional engine compartment ventilation. By limiting the extension to 140 mm in length, this complies with German regulations, so this diffuser does not change the vehicle length and can therefore be installed registration-free. So what is different about this diffuser FX111A0215F? 1) It is of course 140 mm longer, which slightly improves downforce. 2) But this is just a nice side effect. The main purpose of this diffuser is optimized heat dissipation in the engine compartment. The Rover engine was originally designed as a front-mounted engine. In a Lotus, as a mid-mounted engine, it lacks the direct intake air of a front-mounted engine. The newly designed center section of the diffuser takes this aspect into account and offers a new additional exhaust air channel. Now, what do you get with this download? All required laser parts as DXF with appropriate edge instructions for aluminum thickness of 1.5 mm and the STL files. The download consists of the following 2D and 3D parts: 1) Base plate with edge instructions 2) Center blade with edge instructions 3) End panel center section (Image 4) is my own diffuser, which I had additionally powder-coated.
