Download options
No project simply ends up as a free download – the creator decides for themselves under what conditions they share their work. There are three models:
🟢 General release
The creator releases their file for everyone – after approval by the MO. As a thank-you, they get 30 Shares one-time on the first download, and every further download brings 17 Shares. Simple, straightforward, fair.
🔵 Download on request
You decide what your work is worth. You set the number of Shares you expect for a download. With every successful download, the pot is distributed according to the following key:
Total ÷ 20 = Distributor
👤 Creator → remainder
🏢 MO → 2 × Distributor (rounded)
🌐 Site → 1 × Distributor (rounded up)
So you get the lion's share – the rest goes to the platform and operations. Transparent and traceable.
🛒 Buy a finished product
Don't want to print yourself? No problem! Some creators also offer their design as a finished product – orderable directly on the project page. Shares are distributed using the same 17 / 2 / 1 key.
